Mrs. Bessie A. Pitingoro

Bessie A. Pitingoro, age 93 of Mena, Arkansas passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020 at her home. She was born in Ansonia, Connecticut on May 11, 1926 to the late Nicola Giannone and Theresa Guagenti. Mrs. Pitingoro loved taking care of her family and home. Bessie enjoyed cooking; and in her spare time, she loved reading a good book. She faithfully worshipped her lord and savior Jesus Christ and loved going to church. Her church group were some of her favorite people to be with. She was a loving mom, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. Mrs. Pitingoro will be dearly missed. Bessie Pitingoro is survived by: Sons: James A. Pitingoro and wife Ruth of Puyallup, WA Michael N. Pitingoro and wife Fonda of Akron, OH Daughters: Jean Pitingoro-Pulice and husband Stephen of Mena, AR Several loving Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James M. Pitingoro, and her brothers Frank, Salvatore, Michael, and Joseph Giannone. Mrs. Pitingoro was sent for cremation under the direction of Beasley Wood Funeral Home and memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
