History & Staff

We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity.

Our History

Our Funeral Home

Founded in 1928, Beasley-Wood/Geyer-Quillin Funeral Home is an iconic presence in Polk County. It has been a part of the community almost as long as the community itself has existed. There is a long line of families who have exclusively used our facility down through the generations. We feel this makes us unique and still mainstream as we meet the needs of all types of individuals and the extreme care we bestow on their deceased loved ones. Over the years, the "typical" funeral service has changed, and yet, somehow, stayed somewhat the same. The cost, of course, has increased, and in these trying times, Beasley-Wood works to facilitate the needs of all incomes. We also try to include any special requests the family may offer, in terms of video, music, and varied groups and organizations that may attend and pay tribute to the deceased. It is with great pride that all aspects of each service are executed with grace, compassion, and professionalism at Beasley-Wood Funeral Home.
